Len and Susan Plouff brag that their Chow Chow Maitai's Quantum Leap won Best in Match at the Whidbey Island Kennel Club match on November 14,2 003 - first time out at 15 weeks old. Shannon Kelly and Kay Holcomb brag that their Keeshond CH Shamrock's Shuda Bena Cowboy won an Award of Merit at the AKC Eukanuba Invitational dog show in December 2003. Shannon also brags that her Standard Poodle puppy Chelsea has arrived from England. Theresa Miller and Linda Riedel brag that their English Springer Spaniel Ramblewood Paper Moon won Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex for one point on her very first time in the show ring from the 12-18 month class at the Inland Empire Kennel Association show on 11/24/03. They also brag that their English Springer Spaniel Ramblewood Get Off of My Cloud won Winners Dog for a 3 point major from the Bred by Exhibitor class to finish his Championship at the Willamette Valley Kennel Club show on 11/1/03. Theresa, Linda and Judyann Hawks also brag that their English Springer Spaniel Ramblewood Everybody's Talkin won Winners Dog for a 3 point major from the Bred by Exhibitor class at the Willamette Valley Kennel Club show on 11/2/03. Sue Henly brags that her Standard Poodle AM CAN CH Nevermore Jordan, CD, OA, OAP, OAJ, OJP finished his Open Jumpers Preferred Agility title at the Boston Terrier Club of Western Washington Agility Trial on 11/22/03. He had a score of 95. Christy Maxfield brags that a Whippet DC Belaya La Vie En Rose, SC owned by Carol Chittum and handled by Christy finished her Novice Standard Agility Title and her Novice Jumpers with Weaves Agility Title at the Boston Terrier Club of America Agility Trial on December 27th thru 29, 2003 at Argus Ranch in Auburn, WA. She received a score of 100 on her last run for first place in her class. Excellent! Sue Ritchie and Shannon Kelly brag that their Keeshond CH Shamrock's Perfect Timing earned a qualifying score in Novice Jumpers with Weaves at the Tacoma Kennel Club Agility Trial on January 9, 2004. He placed Third in his class, for his second leg toward his Novice title. Sue Henly brags that her Standard Poodle Nevermore Carnegie won Winners Dog and Best Opposite Sex from the Puppy class at the Sammamish Kennel Club Dog Show on January 10, 2004. Kelly Scholting and K.E. Scholting brag that their Cocker Spaniel CH. AVALON'S EBONY CASCADE LOVE won Best of Breed and Group II at the International Dog Show in Ridgefield, WA on February 14-15, 2004 to finish his International title. They also brag that their Cocker Spaniel AVALONS FIRST LADY LOVE also won Best of Breed and Group III to finish her International Championship at the International Dog Show in Ridgefield, WA. Ramblewood Everybody's Talkin, an English Springer Spaniel owned by Theresa Miller, Linda Riedel and JudyAnn Haw took Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 3 point major at the Olympia Dog Fanciers Show on May 2, 2004. Ch. Ramblewood Fields of Gold, an English Springer Spaniel owned by Theresa Miller, Linda Riedel and Kathy McGriff took multiple best of breeds plus two Group 3'sm, a Group 4 and a Group 1! Am Int Ch Avalons Ebony Cascade Love, an American Cocker Spaniel, owned by Kelly Scholting and KE Sholting won Best of Variety over 2 specials at the Albany Oregon Dog show in March 2004 - handled by breeder/owner Kelly!! Rainkees time for Shamrock, a Keeshond owned by H. Wymore took Winners Dog at 6 months old for his first point at the Mt. Baker Kennel Club on May 9, 2004 Ramblewood Wish Upon A Star, an English Springer Spaniel owned by Theresa E. Miller and Linda Riedel took Winners Bitch for 3 point majors out of Bred by Class at both Peninsula Dog Fanciers Club Show on March 20, 2004 and Olympia/Elma Kennel Club show on May 2, 2004. Ramplewood I'm Not that Kind of Girl, an English Springer Spaniel owned by Theresa E. Miller, Linda Riedell, and Judyann Hawks won a 3 point major at the Olympia Dog Fanciers show on May 1, 2004. Christy Maxfield reports that her Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Happy Tale Silver Thread NA, NAJ completed her Open Standard title in agility at Seattle Kennel Club Agility trial May 23, so she now has her OA title. She is still the only Dandie in the country to have any agility title. Christy also reports that Ruth got her first leg in Open Jumps with Weaves (OAJ) at the American Belgian Tervuren Club trial My 28. Christy is especially proud because she has to run so fast to make the time and run a perfect run to get a Qualifying score. She also achieved a score of 100 in her standard run that day, which was a first! Christy Maxfield brags that a Whippet she bred, CRISFIELD YANKEE CLIPPER (Madelines son) won a 5 point major at a show in Great Falls, Montana in June 2004. This was the new owner's fourth time in the ring. Sandy Shamblin brags that she and her Welsh Terrier MR. MOCHA TO GO won First Place in Novice Junior Handling at the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers show on June 5, 2004. They now move up to Open Junior. Patricia Chatman-Clark brags that her Sussex Spaniel CH CHATAPA THREE D NEW HERCULES won a Group First and a Group Third at the Olympia Kennel Club shows on May 1 & 2, 2004. Pat Clark and Diane Tardy brag that their Sussex Spaniel CHATAPA PANDORA took a first place her first time out, at the Clackamas Kennel Club show on June 19 & 20, 2004. Patrica Chatma-Clark brags that a English Springer Spaniel she bred CHATAPA RONIN, owned by Kimberly Chatman, won a 5 point major and two 3 points majors in his first week of showing on the Montana circuit - and he is only 15 months old! Betty and Larry Richardson brag that they have a new granddaughter LILLIAN ELIZABETH RICHARDSON born on May 20, 2004 to parent Lena and Mike Richardson, weighing in at 6 pounds 13 ounces. Suzanne Ellingson brags that her Chinese Shar-Pei SMUG'LRS TUFF-E-NUF won Best of Breed from the 6-9 puppy class over one special at the Bell Vernon Kennel Club show on June 27, 2004. Holly Farthing Pierog and Megan Farthing brag that their Basset Hound CH SEDGWICK'S ROB ROY won Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex at two Five Valley Kennel Club Shows on June 21 and 22, 2004 for two 3 point majors. Report: Laura Chapel (Sue Ritchie - grandmother) brags that DREAMBOAT'S OPIE TAYLOR, a Dandie Dinmont Terrier took reserve winner's dog at just 6 months old at the DDTCA specialty - Montgomery County. Patricia Chatman-Clark & Kimberly Chatman brag that CHATAPA RETURN OF THE LEGEND, an English Springer Spaniel, won Winners dog and Best of Winners at the Eugene Kennel Club in September 2004. Carol Jueltz, Cassandra, Alexandra & Carol Chittum brag that CRISFIELD AFFINITY DREAM ON, a Whippet in October 2004 was the first of Madeline's puppies to finish the AKC Championship. SEDGWICKS SIOBHAN, a Basset Hound owned by Holly Farthing Pirog placed 4th in Derby Class at the 28th National Field Trial at the Basset Hound Club of America. She also had two other placed hounds at the Basset Hound Club of Portland Field Trial - Ch Sedgwick's Carlen O'Connor NBQ and Sedgwick's Scarlet O'Hara took 4th place. SEDGWICK'S GEEZ LOUISE, a Basset Hound owned by Pat McNaul and bred by Holly Farthing Pierog won at the Basset Hound Club of Portland. SEDGWICK'S LIAM, a Basset Hound owned by Holly Farthing Pierog placed 4th in the 9-12 month puppy dog class at the Basset Hound Club of America on September 28. HAPPYTALE'S SILVER THREAD "RUTH", a Dandie Dinmont Terrier finished her Novice preferred title and 2 legs in Open Standard at the Timberland Valley Dog Fanciers Association in October 2004. CRISFIELD DREAM WEAVER "DORA", CRISFIELD DREAM CATCHER "MATTHEW" & CRISFIELD DREAM COME TRUE "EMILY", Whippets owned by Christy Maxfield all got their first leg on their Junior Courser title at the Cascade Coursing Club on October 18, 2004. Kelly Scholting and KE Sholting brag that their American Cocker Spaniel PENNY CREEK'S N AVALONS FIRST STAR won Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Futurity at the Washington State Cocker Spaniel Club Speciality Show on August 13, 2004 under judge Cindy Mixon at 4 days over 6 months old. Star also won a 3 point major under breeder judge Don Harris by going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the WSCSC Specialty. She was breeder-owner handled by Kelly. Start and her sister Amiee also won Best Litter in Futurity. Diane Tardy brags that one of her conformation class attendees - Susan E. won Best of Breed with her Chinese Shar Pei SHUNAGLS COVE MS. BUDWISER at the Whidbey Island Kennel Club show on November 13, 2004.
