We are so proud of our members and their accomplishments with their dogs. Our club is proud to brag that we have had dogs invited to participate at the famous Westminster Event and to the Eukanuba Classic shows. Our members compete in a variety of ways with their dogs. May 2008

Raul and Cassandra de la Rosa brag that their Lhasa Apso SUNTORY PRADA finished her Championship at the two Timberland Valley Kennel Club shows on April 5/6, 2008 - going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 4 point major both days. They also brag that their Lhasa Apso CH, SUNTORY SOPHIA II won Best of Breed and Group Second at these same shows.

Judy Immerman brags that her Miniature Poodle OTCH. JAVADORI'S MAX IN A MILLION, UDX won High Combined on Saturday with a 1981/2 in Open and a 199 in Utility at the Timberland Valley Dog Fanciers show on April 5/6, 2008- and on Sunday had a 199 for High in Trial.

Charlee Byford & JoAnn Gustafson brag that their Shih Tzu PIEN JI'S RED FRED won Winners Dog for a major and Best Bred by Exhibitor, and went on to win Bred by Exhibitor Toy Group 1 at the Peninsula Dog Fanciers show on 3./23/08. She also brags that his son PIEN JI'S GRAND SLAM ED-GRR went Reserve Winners Dog on his first time in the ring at the same show. She also brags that her Shih Tzu PIEN JI'S LOLLI DOLL won Winners Bitch for her second major - also from the Bred by Exhibitor class at the Peninsula Dog Fanciers show.

James Dok brags that a Basset Hound he bred BELLGREY BELLA, UD,  RE owned by Sharon Hall earned her Utility Dog degree in 4 attempts at shows on 3/16 - 22/08 and is now going for her UDX, Sharon and Jim Dok congratulate Sharon and Bella on such a record level of attainment. BRAVO BELLA!

Sue Henly brags that a Standard Poodle she bred NEVERMORE DANDRIDGE, 0AJ, NA owned by Shirley Ross, completed her Novice Standard Agility title and her Open Jumpers Agility title in 2007.

April 2008

Marlene De Larenzo and Richard Camacho brag that their Chow Chow CHEN CHU'S SWEET SUGAR won Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex at the Chintimini Kennel Club show on 3/15 and Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Chintimini Kennel Club show on 3/16.

Cassandra & Raul de la Rosa and Judith & Richard Camacho brag that their Japanese Chin CH. JARO'S CHUN-KEE MUNK-KEE won Best of Breed and Group 2nd at the Seattle Kennel Club show on 3/8 and Best of Breed and Group 3rd at the Seattle Kennel Club show on 3/9.

Diane Tardy and Karen Walsh brag that their Chow Chow SING'S FU BLESSING FOR JADE won Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 2 points at the Seattle Kennel Club show on 3/8/08.

Sue Ritchie and Shannon Kelly brag that their Keeshond SHAMROCK'S PRACTICAL MAGIC  won Reserve Winners at Mt. Hood Keeshond Club show on 12/7/07; Winners Bitch, Best of Winners &Best Opposite at Greater Clark County KC on 12/9/07; Winners Bitch, Best of Winners & Best Opposite at Dog Fanciers of Oregon on 1/18/08; Winners Bitch and Best Opposite at Tualatin KC on 1/20/08; Reserve Winners at Chintimini KC on 3/16/08; all by 10 months of age.

February 2008

Charlee Byford and JoAnn Gustafson brag that their Shih Tzu NINGSIA'S TEXAS RANGER went Winners Dog and Best of Winners Friday and Saturday, and Reserve Winners Dog on Sunday at the Puyallup Cluster shows on 1/11-12-13/08. They also brag that their Shih Tzu PIEN JI' S RED FRED  (entered Sunday only) won Winners Dog and Best of Winners from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class at the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers show on 1/13/08 - giving Charlee both Winners Dog and Winners Bitch from the Bred-by class. Charlee Byford also brags that her Shih Tzu PIEN JI'S LOLLI DOLL went Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex both Friday and Sunday and Reserve Winners Bitch on Saturday from the Bred by Exhibitor class at the Puyallup Cluster shows on 1/11-12-13/08.

Ric Byrd brags that his Big Boy NATHAN WILLARD is home from Iraq after 2 ½  years.

Sue Henly brags that her Standard Poodle CH.NEVERMORE CARNEGIE, CD completed his Companion Dog degree in obedience with qualifying scores at the Sammamish Kennel Club show and Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers show on 1/12 - 13/08.

January 2008

Charlee Byford and Jo Ann Gustafson brag that their Shih Tzu PIEN JI’S RED FRED won Best of Breed at the Willamette Valley Kennel Club show on November 11, 2006. They also brag that their Shih Tzu NINGSIA’S LEAVE IT TO ME (bred by Charlee Byford) won Best of Breed for a major at the Whidbey Island Kennel Club show on November 18, 2006

Richard and Judith Camacho and Raul and Cassandra de la Rosa brag that their Japanese Chin CH. JARO’S CHUN-KEE MUN-KEE won Best Bred by Exhibitor and Award of Merit at the AKC Eukanuba Invitational show on December 2, 2006 and First Award of Merit at the Japanese Chin Club of America National specialty show.

Raul and Cassandra de la Rosa also brag that their Lhasa Apso CH. SUNTORY PAPARAZZI won First Award of Merit at the AKC Eukanuba Invitational show on December 2, 2006.

Candi Marzano brags that her Kerry Blue Terrier KERISTAR MISTYHILL GEM won Winners Bitch both days at the Whidbey Island Kennel Club shows on November 18 and 19, 2006 for two 3 point majors.

 Theresa Miller, Linda Riedel, and Silsby and Charles Pelissero brag that their English Springer Spaniel AM.AND CAN. CH. RAMBLEWOOD MISTER MAGIC won First Award of Merit at the AKC Eukanuba Invitational show on December 2, 2006. This win qualifies him for Crufts. He also went BEST IN SHOW at the Cook Inlet Kennel Club All Breed show in Alaska on August 5, 2006.

Theresa Miller, Linda Riedel and Judyann Hawks brag that their English Springer Spaniel RAMBLEWOOD I ENJOY BEING A GIRL won Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex both days at the Whidbey Island Kennel Club shows on November 18 & 19, 2006 for two 3 point majors. She now needs 1 point to finish.

Theresa Miller, Silsby and Connie Pelissero brag their English Springer Spaniel RAMBLEWOOD CAPTURE THE MAGIC finished his Championship at 10½ months of age at a show in California on December 19, 2006

Carol Ptak brags that her Wirehaired Pointing Griffon AM. INTL.CH. UCH. UCD NIETZSCHE VON HERRENHAUSEN, CD, RA, JH, TD, FDJ, CGC, NA qualified for his first leg in Open Standard Agility with a first place in his class - 13 seconds under course time and a perfect score of 100 points at the Western Washington Weimaraner Club Agility Trial on December 10, 2006.

Ric and Nancy Byrd brag that they now have 2 great grandsons on the ground and 2 great granddaughters on the way.

Karen Walsh, Diane Tardy, and Shelly Dillingham brag that their Chow Chow SING FU’S BLESSING FOR JADE won Winners Dog and Best of Winners from the 12 - 18 class for two points at the Puyallup Cluster in January.

Sue Ritchie and Shannon Kelly brag that their Keeshond CH. SHAMROCK’S PERFECT TIMING earned his first qualifying score in Excellent A Agility Jumpers with Weaves at the Boston Terrier Club of Western Washington trial at Elma on January 1, 2006. They also brag that their Keeshond CH. KEESBROOK’S SWEET DREAMS finished her Agility Excellent Jumpers title at the Boston Terrier Club of Western Washington trial on December 31, 2005 - Christy Maxfield handling. CONGRATULATIONS!

Larry and Betty Richardson brag that their Standard Poodle CH. WINDEMERE ENCHANTED COUNTRY has a new litter of 8 - 5 males, 3 females. All doing well.

Kelly Scholting and Mary Prosser brag that their American Cocker Spaniel MOUNTVIEWS N AVALONS FIRST SEAWIND won her first point from the 9-12 Puppy class at the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers show on 1/14/07.

Sue Henly brags her Standard Poodle NEVERMORE E. FITZGERALD won Winners Bitch both Saturday and Sunday at the Linn County Kennel Club shows on February 10 & 11, 2007 for 2 points each day.
